Facials

Our skilled aestheticians are trained in giving a variety of facials, designed to meet the specific needs of a variety of skin types and age ranges. Depending on your skin type or skin concerns, our team will create a custom facial, using products customized to meet your needs.

Many of our clients add “The Works” to their custom facials, which includes a hand, shoulder, and neck massage; eye and lip treatment; and a paraffin hand treatment. Schedule your facial today. Contact Ritz Med Spa for more information.

Most of our clients see optimal benefits with monthly facials, especially those with specific skin concerns. In our twenties, our skin renews itself every 30 days, but, as we age, the renewal process slows down significantly. This is why regular facials can be so beneficial.
Yes! We offer the Acne Management Facial, which focuses on clarifying and healing acneic skin. Monthly treatments can be effective in managing and preventing recurring acne on blemish-prone skin.

Dermaplaning

Dermaplaning is a procedure where a trained aesthetician uses a disposable surgical scalpel to carefully remove dead skin and the peach fuzz across your face. The two-in-one treatment rids your face of unwanted hair and dead skin. Because dermaplaning removes excess dead skin cells, most of our clients say that their makeup looks smoother and their skin care products penetrate better after dermaplaning.

Dermaplaning a great alternative to other hair removal methods, such as laser hair removal, for hair that is too light or thin for the laser to target.

Our professional staff recommend dermaplaning on a monthly basis to ensure optimal results because your skin renews itself every 30 days—taking longer the older we get—and your hair will grow back.

There is no downtime. You may appear a little red afterward a dermaplaining treatment, so your aesthetician will apply sunscreen before you leave. Many of our clients apply some powder and are able to go back to work. We recommend that you are especially diligent with sunscreen after any procedure.

Shaving uses several blades stacked together that remove the hair, but these blades can cause nicks as you try navigate the contours of your face. Dermaplaning uses a surgical blade that is able to remove all the vellus hair and dead skin in a much more effective, safer way.

Chemical Peels

Chemical peels are a great way to treat conditions, such as, acne, hyperpigmentation, fine lines, and wrinkles. Our aestheticians will recommend a variety of peels based on your unique skin care needs. Chemical peels are typically done in a series of three to six treatments, usually three to four weeks apart, for best results. Results and downtime vary greatly depending on your skin’s health, your skincare regimen, and what type of peel you receive.

HydraFacial

HydraFacial uses patented technology to cleanse, extract, and hydrate skin while infusing highly-effective serums tailored to your specific skin needs. This unique process uses water as the exfoliating medium to helps improve the appearance of several skin concerns, including fine lines and wrinkles, skin firmness, texture, and pore congestion. Suitable for all skin types, this rejuvenating treatment is gentle, non-invasive, and effective immediately.

HydraFacial uses water as the exfoliating medium to clean and hydrate the face. The multi-step treatment uses a patented device to cleanse, exfoliate, and extract dead skin cells while bathing the skin in serums packed with rich hydrating ingredients, antioxidants, and peptides.

Yes. You can work with your skincare professional to further customize your HydraFacial by incorporating add-ons or boosters targeting your specific skin concerns.

The treatment delivers hydration with minimized visible redness while providing improvement in the appearance of skin firmness, texture, and radiance.

Micro-needling with PRP

Micro-needling with platelet rich plasma facial injection (PRP) rejuvenates the skin by diminishing fine lines and wrinkles, scars, and hyperpigmentation. Collagen regrowth takes time, so most of our clients see the best results when they have a series of three treatments spaced out every four weeks.

Micro-needling is a skin treatment performed with an advanced medical device that uses sterile, medical grade micro-needles to rapidly and gently penetrate your skin. The tiny lesions trigger your body’s natural healing process, which stimulates the production of collagen and elastin.
As new collagen and elastin builds, your skin is renewed. Fresh skin growth means you lose the old skin discolorations, scars, lines, and wrinkles.
Our clients often achieve better results using microneedling with PRP. While not required, adding platelet-rich plasma, or PRP, to your micro-needling treatment can enhance the production of collagen and elastin.
Your blood contains platelets, which are packed with proteins called growth factors. These growth factors stimulate the production of new cells, blood vessels, collagen, and other substances needed for healthy skin and wound healing.

Platelet-rich plasma (PRP), which is easily procured at Ritz Medspa by using your own blood, is concentrated blood plasma. With this higher concentration of platelets, PRP can be injected into the skin or other places in the body for medical purposes, where it promotes the growth of new tissues and speeds healing.

When PRP is used during a micro-needling treatment, the platelets penetrate the tiny wounds, where they go to work, boosting collagen production and renewing your skin.

PRP is made from your own blood, which ensures that the treatment will be compatible with your body. The procedure begins by drawing a small amount of blood from your arm.

The blood is then put into a centrifuge and spun to separate the platelets from the plasma. The the extra platelets are added back to a small amount of your plasma to create the PRP that’s applied directly into your skin during micro-needling. This allows the healing platelets to reach the deepest layers of your skin. Once there, the PRP can begin the repair and revitalization of the skin from the inside out.

Most of our clients begin to see a noticeable change within a few weeks. Collagen continues to grow for a little longer, so you will likely see optimal results in about 12 weeks.

After treatment, you should expect your skin to be a little red for a few days. You can safely wear makeup the next day to hide the redness. It takes a little time for your skin to produce collagen and to regenerate new tissues, even with PRP.

*Individual results may vary.

Eyelash Tinting and Brow Tinting

Lash tint and brow tinting are a great way to create natural, fuller looking brows and lashes that last three to six weeks, depending on what products your use to wash your face and to remove your makeup. Our trained aesthetician will select a color or custom blend a semi-permanent dye to apply to your lashes and/or brows. Ritz Med Spa clients love semi-permanent lash and brow tinting because it takes out the hassle of applying makeup to your lashes or brows daily.

Waxing

Waxing can be done for men and women all over the body. It is a great alternative for those not ready or unable to do laser hair removal. Waxing is also ideal for those with light colored hair, as laser hair removal devices can only target dark hair (brown to black).

Make sure that the hair you want waxed is at least one-fourth of an inch long. It is best to avoid the time around your menstrual cycle because it may be more painful for some.

Also, make sure the area you want waxed hasn’t had any recent treatments, such as, peels, lasers, or aggressive topicals. Ensure the skin is not irritated or even sunburnt.

Finally, gently exfoliating your skin the days preceding and after, but not on the day of your the appointment, to help mitigate ingrown hairs.

Your aesthetician will go over a list of contraindications to ensure we can safely proceed if you are unsure. For example, patients on or recently on Accutane or using Retinols can damage their skin from waxing.
